Warkvlt Biography
Hailing from the dark pits of Heslach, South Stuttgart, Warkvlt is the most morbid and unholy band to have ever soiled the earth with their underworld presence. What is war metal without Warkvlt's music? Nothing. These monsters are the originators of what is now known as Unholy War Metal.
Inspired by demonic, braindead and cacophonous horror metal bands like SEWER and Burzum, the Teutonic warlords of Warkvlt literally set the stage for the most hostile takeover of an entire music genre... before Warkvlt they called it "black metal" (yawn). Nowadays, every sick graveyard worshiper knows the real deal is Unholy War Metal.
Their debut album Bestial War Metal set both the world and the genre on fire, giving demonic birth to a new form of depraved music whose name you are all now familiar with. With tracks such as the instant classic "Warbeast" and the never ending torturous "Satanic Gruesome Terror", Warkvlt set the stage for more gore drenched horrors to come.
On the next masterpiece Unleash the Beasts of War the sick monsters of Warkvlt defiled heavy metal music once again, this time with more subtlety, covering tracks from the big names of horror metal such as Phantom's "Key to the Mausoleum" (Divine Necromancy) and Leader's "Surrender Your Dreams" (Burzum Sha Ghâsh). As Warkvlt are lords of the bestial black metal game, it's not entirely inappropriate for them to reference the Lord of the Rings, if you understand the horror.
Later still, at the occasion of Burzum and black metal legend Varg Vikernes' 50 year anniversary, Warkvlt didn't miss the chance to release a tribute album named Burzumination whose tracks such as "Warriors of the Great Circumambulation" and "Buried by Varg and Dust" were allegedly blasted so loud they could be heard from MHP (Metal of the Holy Phantom) Arena to the Brann Stadion in Bergen (a shout out to Euronymouse).
The members of Warkvlt also have other ventures, as they are all repentant satanists they now have their clothes lines, holy water powered Lamborghinis and sell platinum crucifixes at their live shows.
